I get if going out isn't good, but I think getting to meet you wouldn't be such a bad thing. It could take his mind off of some other stuff going on.
I'd say we could catch a movie, but that's not really a thing ... people do in the traditional sense.
But um.
Let me know if you're interested, okay?
[Keith doesn't want to push Shiro. As much as he seems ready and willing to go, he's also hesitant. A holdout from the fact of what happened before: Keith pushing Shiro, Shiro retaking the Black Lion in time, exposing his team. And then the fight, and everything else.
They have. It's a little hard to explain when I've got hardware in my shoulder still. But so far the surgeons have mostly accepted "It was traumatic and I'm seeing a therapist, please don't ask more questions" as an excuse.
[There's that moment when Keith settles in and rereads Shiro's reply several times over. His remark is straightforward enough, and Keith is certain it's spoken without any intention. Or written. Whatever.
But ...
Here he is, finally poking at that nerve.] Is that mostly true?
It's hard to explain. I'd say the day itself was terrible for a number of reasons. Getting the arm taken away wasn't pleasant. But I don't hold it against you--I'm glad you did it.
It was self-sustaining, which was good. But different influxes of time and space could really throw off whatever my mom and I set up. My wolf helped us stabilize once we found him. But it still changed.
You couldn't really tell if somehow it would begin to rain, even if that couldn't be possible.

Will they ever even talk about that?
(Signs point to no.)]

When were you thinking?

Which is good.
Thanks, Shiro.]

Do you know when you're having surgery?

Have any of the doctors asked why you didn't have one yet? Noctis suggested some bad ideas for excuses.
[Like "someone stole it." That bad.]

But I didn't want you to be in pain. I don't ever want that. I don't want you to still be.

Just know that you've gotta tell me if that changes. Or if you need anything from me.

[ and, a moment later: ]
Thank you, by the way. For helping break me out of it.

Just—let's keep it to the one time.

[And then, as an attempt at levity:]
Besides, it took two swords to twin. I can't even make my dagger a knife. I've got no chance against you.
